How To Submit Reimbursement Claims
A superbill is a detailed list of all the services a healthcare provider provided a patient, along with extra information needed to bill insurance companies. Superbills allow your therapist to communicate what treatment was provided and why, so you can submit claims to your insurance company in an attempt to be reimbursed.
What’s a superbill?
Insurance companies require the specific details on a superbill to process claims properly and determine how much to pay providers. So superbills allow communication from your therapist to insurance companies to get claims paid. *Note: a suberbill does not guarantee that you will be reimbursed. It is up to your insurance provider to determine if you qualify for reimbursement.
